Makita 36V Brushless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower

Makita has introduced the 18V X2 (36V) LXT Brushless Cordless 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (XML08Z) to its expanding line of cordless outdoor power equipment. This new mower offers a solution for efficient grass cutting with zero emissions, lower noise levels, and reduced maintenance.

Powered by two 18V LXT Batteries, the mower features a 4-bay battery system that can hold up to 4 batteries for twice the run time without needing to switch to a different battery platform. The Makita-built motor can deliver up to 2,800 RPM, with a Quiet Mode setting that reduces noise by maintaining a constant speed of 2,300 RPM.

The mower can cover up to half an acre using 4 5.0Ah 18V LXT Batteries (sold separately). It comes equipped with convenient features such as quick height adjustments, mulching capability, and a commercial-grade steel deck. The 3-in-1 design allows for mulching, bagging, or side discharge options.

Incorporating Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), the mower has a protective seal inside the tool to enhance its performance in harsh conditions by diverting water and dust away from key internal components. It is part of the expanding 18V LXT System, the largest cordless tool system in the world that is powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.

Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries are known for their fast charge times, allowing for more time spent working and less time sitting on the charger. The Star Protection Computer Controls offer improved tool performance and extended battery life by enabling real-time communication between the tool and battery to monitor conditions like overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.

For added versatility, the mower can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries with the star symbol indicating the presence of Star Protection technology. With no gas, emissions, oil mixing, or pull starts, along with reduced maintenance and low noise levels, this self-propelled lawn mower with variable speed is a reliable and efficient choice for maintaining your lawn.
